Book Recommendations

This book found me in 2017, and I have read it at least once every year since. I call it my reset book, because its powerful and concise message inspires and recalibrates my mind like no other. The beautifully illustrated pages and the wisdom contained in this book is practical and relatable to almost everyone.

Florence Scovel Shinn was a gifted spiritual teacher and author. The manuscript for this book was lost for many years before it was discovered and published. Which is nothing short of divine intervention in my opinion. If you are in need of your own reset, this then The Magic Path of Intuition is an excellent starting point.

Packed full of wisdom that’s wrapped in adventure!

The Alchemist is a great book when you’re in need of something easy and productive to read. I would also say it is an excellent choice for grounding your energy.  It has a way of making me feel at peace with wherever I am on my personal life journey.  While at the same time it inspires me to be brave and to take chances.

I’ve read this book multiple times, yet it always seems to feel like the first time.  The profound lessons and perspectives in this book tend to grow and change with me and I learn something new every time I read it.  So, if you’re looking for a book that you can gain something from, but feel burnt out on self-help books ‘The Alchemist’ is my top pick.   

In need of some self-reflection?

This one will have you digging deep within your mind. Revealing aspects of ego and your consciousness that you may not have known or wanted to acknowledge before. This is also a great choice for those who are struggling with romantic relationships.

I have listened to the audio version of this one. Which I liked mostly because it is read by the author, Michael A. Singer. I find it incredibly powerful to hear his words spoken aloud, or straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak.
