Grounding Your Energy

Grounding is simply connecting yourself with the earth in order to bring balance to your physical and mental body which ultimately strengthens your spiritual wellbeing. 

Grounding yourself is simple and can be done in many ways.

  • Explore

    - Gardening, is a great way to ground yourself.

    -Take your shoes off and walk on the ground. Or dip your toes in a river, lake, pond or the ocean.

    - Sit outside for a while or go for a walk or a hike. 

  • Breathe

    Take a moment with your feet planted on the ground and think about your body and how it feels to be connected to the earth below. Allow that feeling to travel up your entire body to the crown of your head. 

    Take a few deep breaths focusing your attention on the sensations you feel.

  • Observe

    Observe your surroundings to find 5 things that you can see, 4 things you can feel, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
